Built on stewardship
stew·ard·ship (noun): the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care.
Why "Steward"?
Your organization trusts you with its computers, software, accounts and data. Census helps you take good care of them: know what you have, keep it secure and up to date, and account for every asset.
We try to be good stewards of what you trust us with, too. Your inventory stays on your own server, nothing is sent to us, and your license is yours to keep.
Why perpetual?
IT teams are tired of paying every year for the same software. We think a tool that inventories your equipment, on your server, should be something you can own. So Census is sold the old-fashioned way: you buy it once. If it keeps getting better and you want the new versions, you renew updates. If not, you don't have to.
Who we are
Steward IT LLC is a US software company serving IT teams worldwide. Census is the tool we wanted for our own work: thorough, fast, private and fairly priced.
"As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.", 1 Peter 4:10
