If Census isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of your purchase and we'll refund the license or add-on in full. No questions asked, though we'd appreciate knowing what we could do better.
Because the free edition includes every feature for up to 50 assets, we encourage you to try Census on part of your network before buying.
How to request a refund
Email support@steward-it.com or call +1 (928) 888-9928 with your organization name, the email used for the purchase, and the license key ID (shown under Configuration › License). We confirm requests within two business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method, and your bank or card issuer may take 5–10 business days to show them.
What a refund means for your license
A refunded key is revoked in our records and must be removed from your server. Census then continues as the free edition, up to 50 assets, and your data is kept.
After 30 days
- Licenses and add-ons are generally non-refundable after 30 days, because they're perpetual. We'll always fix a clear billing error, such as a duplicate charge or the wrong quantity.
- Update renewals can be refunded within 30 days of purchase if you haven't installed a version released after your previous updates period ended.
- Add-on assets bought by mistake can be refunded within 30 days.
Chargebacks
Please contact us first so we can make it right. A chargeback revokes the license involved.
Your statutory rights
This guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country, which it doesn't limit.
Taxes
Taxes collected on a refunded purchase are refunded or adjusted as required by law.
